MorbidsoSorbid
Добавлен 27 июн 2011
This started off as a parody channel for the band Morbid Angel from videos I edited myself. However, it has now evolved into a place for me to upload rare and interesting materials. Most will probably be metal related but other music and art-house cinema will probably come soon.

Devin Townsend Terria Commentary
Просмотров 8 тыс.11 лет назад
Interesting 20 minute commentary by Dev for the 2001 album 'Terria'. This is on the limited edition bonus CD for said album. He was about 30 at the time. Someone else uploaded the commentary for 'Physicist' which is worth a listen too.

Scott Walker Radio Interview for World Cafe 2013

This is an interview conducted by David Dye for 'World Cafe' for the promotion of Bish Bosch. The program was broadcast from the USA and Scott seemed to be in the studio with the interviewer. I think this makes it interesting.
Nick Cave - Sad Waters [Rare Acoustic Version]

This track is found on the lecture CD 'The Secret Life of the Love Song' which Nick released in 2000. I personally find it far superior and more emotional than the original which is found on the 'Your Funeral... My Trial' album. It can be purchased in the link below: www.amazon.co.uk/Secret-Life-Love-Song-Flesh/dp/B00002DDZG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1359818894&sr=8-1

This in an interview between Scott and Stuart Maconie for his BBC 6 radio show 'Freak Zone'. Although the interview was conducted in late 2012 it was broadcast in January 2013 to help celebrate Scott's 70th birthday.
Scott Walker Radio Interview 2012

Scott interviewed by his friend Jarvis Cocker on BBC Radio 6. This was broadcast on the 2nd December 2012 to help promote Bish Bosch. From a newspaper interview around this time it was mentioned that Scott had a biking accident and damaged a tooth - this may explain the sibilance in his speech.
The Walker Brothers scene in 'Beach Ball' (1965)
Просмотров 16 тыс.12 лет назад
Before The Walker Brothers headed to fame in England they had this bit-part in the 1965 American feature film 'Beach Ball' playing the Scott Walker composition 'Doin' The Jerk'. This is the first song Scott is known to have written. The drummer here is Al "Tiny" Schneider not Gary Leeds whom joined a little later. I found this scene on youtube coupled together with the film's other songs. The q...

From the BBC series 'Who Do You Think You Are?' John Hurt discovers that his long-held belief that he had Irish ancestry wasn't true. He's not happy.
Buddha Bidet - Rare Devin Townsend song
Просмотров 41 тыс.12 лет назад
Buddha Bidet was recorded during the Epicloud recording sessions (2012) and given to people who had VIP tickets to the Retinal Circus gig on a memory stick. Great song - possibly a test drive for Save Our Now as it has a similar structure and dance-y off beat thing. Apologies for copyright infringement!
Devin Townsend Newcastle Guitar Clinic Pro-recorded (1 of 2)

This is part 1 of a professionally recorded Dev clinic recorded in a Newcastle (England) college on 15/11/2011. It's an Easter egg on the 'By A Thread' boxset and hadn't been uploaded to youtube yet probably due to it's rarity. Very informative and entertaining - enjoy!

Morbid Angel's 'I Am Morbid' Music Video
He got the money and did what everyone with a brain would do... time for vacation, guess I will go to France. No really who the fuck would pay this amount back considering the heavy taxes in Norway yearly. He definitely did what is sound and reasonable to be quite honest fuck them go get a permanent vacation to France.
I think he's a human being
From the debts of hell
Scott probably didn’t want to do “My Way” because it would call back too closely to his 60s crooner roots, and/or become the thing he’s best known for.
✅🙏🫶🏽🤯
Good old Ska 'Twalker.
Jacques brel brought me here to learn in depth who's this guy who sung Brel soo truthfully ...and lo and behold the resemblance is stunning physically and intellectually ...even the way he speaks...2 intellectuals that happened to be singers
He looks like mr beast
huh... this was in my saved bookmarks...
The guitar player, Hugh Burns, played guitar on other legendary recordings such as George Michael's "Careless Whisper" and "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty!
Brilliant interview - he asked a lot of interesting questions

"Sir, i must inform you that this conversation is being recorded"
He looks like mr beast 😮
John: Hurt.
People may feel a kindred spirit with being English, Irish or Scots, but you are what you are. Where you are born is less important than the influence of your parents and their family history. ie. If you parents are English but you happen to be born in Japan because your parents were working there for 18 months, it doesn't make you Japanese. Paul McGrath was born in London but is Irish. I like Ireland and I love Scotland, but I will always be English/British, no matter what I want or prefer. It just so happens that although I'm far from a Nationalist, I'm quite happy being exactly what I am.
He thinks he's Irish? Has he never heard himself speak?
You were always one of us, John: then, now, for ever❤❤❤
So this is what Vinesauce Joel looks like in real life
It hurts
He looks like mr beast but sounds like Elon musk
Hurt looks more Germanic then celt. Rip John on the Emerald island in the sky.
True artist. Big impact on my music development. R.I.P.Scott Walker.
Die Hard Postbanken DNB NAV Shell
I adored him and his voice was awesome
why he look mr beast
Scott, in his head: "I want to make people REALLY uncomfortable." Mission accomplished.
Ima tell my kids this is Mr Beast
Good old times . .
dig the track pants damn
Brilliant
Pretty interesting uses of a Les Paul and a Strat. My bet is Jimi Hendrix would have approved. What an amazing musical trajectory he had.
There's also a Radio 3 interview with Robert Sandell from '95 somewhere talking about. 'Tilt'
😂😂😂 he's gutted. I'm english, irish, Greek and South Italian and Scandinavian quater of everything but had no idea about Scandinavian only thing I can think is all my ancestors come from cities the vikings ruled or created aswel as the Norman's who was of viking ancestry. I have no Scandinavian ancestors but I'm 24.9%
Wow - I knew he had some lean years in the 70s and 80s, but it sounds like he was really living hand-to-mouth a lot of the time. Appalling really, considering how many records he sold during the 60s.
This is just the best Nick Cave for me ... what a CD
Varg wears Adidas pants confirmed.
Ill laugh for you John... 😂🤣😂😂😂🤣😂
